"What is the purpose of life"?

So, i'll answer this question by using God's Word.

Purpose Of Life..............
What is the purpose of life? It is that we should fear the all-powerful God. To fear God means to respect and stand in awe of him because of who he is. Purpose in life starts with whom we know, not what we know or how good we are. All people in life, want to make an impact on the world. You can't do it on your own. You need help. Where do you get this help? It comes only if you accept Jesus (God's only son) as your personal Lord and savior. Jesus inside of you guiding you, to make an impact on the world. It sounds like a fairy-tale, but you know what, It's funny, because the same person that says that, doesn't have any will power to do much of anything, so they make excuses, and they let God's calling on their life slip through their hands. It is impossible to fufill your God-given purpose unless you revere God and give him first place in your life. If you try on your own, you will be a failure! Even if you do gain lots of money, and do the things that you want to do, you will turn out to be a succesful failure. The bible cleary says.....

(Matthew 16:26)
"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet loses his soul?"


To be happy and good are worthy goals for life, but we can pursue them in the wrong way. People think they will find hapiness, with a relationship. When you really think about it, having a lover that you choose, instead of God, just gets us into unwanted hurts, (you know i'm telling the truth here. My story is at the end of this letter) anguish, and discouragement, just to name a few problems. But, if we give God control over these things, you will see that he won't ever let us go through these things in relationships, if we trust in him totally. God created us, do you not think that God cannot have the perfect person for you. Let go, and let God handle your life concerns. Through our lives God wants us to enjoy life. When we have to proper view of God, we discover that real pleasure is found in enjoying whatever we have as gifts from God, not in what we accumulate. Trust your Heavenly Father. Why? Because Father Knows Best.....

(Proverbs 3:5) Lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him.



How to find your purpse in life.............

(2 Corinthians 4:4) Satan, the god (ruler) of this world,(earth) has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don't understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Satan is the "god of this world". His work is to deceive, and he has blinded those who don't believe in Christ. The allure of power, money, and pleasure blinds people to the light of Christ's Good News. Those who reject Christ and prefer their own pursuits have unknowingly made Satan their god. What a terrible thing...


So now that you realize that you need Jesus in order to be free, because you need to be free in order to find your purpose in life...read on...

(1 John 5:11) ...God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

(John 3:16)
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son
into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil."

so , the bottom line is for you to do what millions of people have done, and that's to accept Jesus Christ into your heart. God has a purpose for your life, but you need Jesus in order to fulfil that purpose. You can't go straight to the Father (God) , except through the Son (Jesus). read John 14:6. You can pray to God all you want with all your might, and he won't answer. You Must go through his Son Jesus, and why would anyone not reject someone as loving as Jesus.

(John 14:6) Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

So.........., your question might be......"How do i accept Jesus into my heart"?
Well, let me show you what Jesus said...

(Romans 10:9) That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.


To "believe" is more than intellectual agreement that Jesus is God. It means to put our trust in and confidence in him that he alone can save us. It is to put Christ in charge of our present plans and eternal destiny. Believing is both trusting his words as reliable, and relying on him for the power to change. Let Christ's promise of everlasting life be yours by believing in him and accept Jesus into your heart.

It may seem very unreal and foolish to say something to someone of whose existance you have no inward proof; but might this not be the same in other circumstances? Let's say you've heard of a certain Doctor. What you have heard makes you feel that he is just the man for your case. Will you say that you don't believe that there is such a person? Will you go as far as going to his house and seeing the man spoken of, and then telling the man that you don't believe that he is the Doctor? If you will do this, then either your case is not very serious, or you are refusing to admit to it's seriousness. If you really have a need, the very least that you will do will be to go to the Doctor and tell him your trouble and say "I have been advised that you can meet my need, and I ask you to do so. My coming to you represents an honest inquiry and commital, in spite of my doubts and questions".

Even though you don't exactly have to say the prayer below "word for word" in order to be saved, I wrote out a prayer just in case you don't know what to say. Don't just say these words. Don't say these things to God, if you don't mean it! He's not a toy. He has very REAL FEELINGS!

(Isaiah 59:12,13,20) ...Our sins condemn us! We have done wrong. We have rebelled and refused to follow you. our hearts were deceitful,so we lied; we planned to abuse others and turn our backs on you.....The LORD has promised to rescue the city of Zion and Jacob's descendants who turn from sin.

Pray this simple prayer"
"Lord Jesus , please forgive me for all my sins against you, against myself and agianst those around me. Please help me forgive those who have caused me pain and suffering. Wipe my sins clean and give me a new beginning. I receive you, Jesus into my life. I believe that you are the Son of God. with all power on heaven and earth. I give you my life now, believing you will make me into a new creation. Amen"



That's what you need to do. Don't put it off. Do it. Don't reject Jesus.....won't you give him a try.

Guidelines for Living

(1 John 4:7,8) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God IS love.

(Proverbs 12:1) "To Learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction."

If we are faithful and true to God's Word, til death, we have eternal life awaiting us, with the promise of NEW Glorious Bodies, that can't cry , can't die, and we'll live with God forever and we will see the wicked destroyed. This is not a fairy tale. This is true. It's only for those who accept Christ, and turn away from your sins.

(Proverbs 10:27) "Fear of the Lord lengthens one's life, but the years of the wicked are cut short."

(Isaiah 45:22) "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else."

(2 Timothy 2:21) "If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. Your life will be clean , and you will be ready for the the Master to use you for every good work."

(2 Timothy 1:9,10)"Who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel"

An Important thing to remember is to Fear the Lord.

(Proverbs 9:10) "Fear of the the Lord is the Beginning of Widsom"

(Psalms 34:9-16)
9 Fear the LORD, you his saints,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

11 Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Whoever of you loves life
and desires to see many good days,
13 keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking lies.
14 Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their cry;
16 the face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.


"Fear of the LORD" is a phrase you find frequently in the Old Testament. Does it mean that we should be frightened of God? Not at all. "Fear of the LORD" gradually became a standard phrase for a good relationship with God. A good relationship begins with a reverent sense that God is so powerful and righteous that we dare not take him lightly. But it goes on from awe to a sense of deep security, as this psalm fully demonstrates


Who Makes it into the Kingdom of God?
Accepting Christ is Just the beginning.......you must endure, and keep a holy heart and live holy before God. Accepting Christ into your heart doesn't give you a license to sin. We must live pleasing in God's sight. This is not asking much, since God has prepared a eternal Life in heaven for his people that endure and live a life pleasing to God. We can never be perfect, but we are to always strive for it as though we can reach perfection.

(John 14:2) "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."


Those who endure

(Matthew 24:13) But those who endure to the end will be saved.


(Revelation 3:10) Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

(Revelation 22:5) And there will be no night there--no need for lamps or sun--for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.


(1 Corinthians 3:9) "....No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."


(Revelation 21:3,4)" .....Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

(Revelation 3:4) ".....They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels."


Those who reject Jesus and Love this world
(Revelation 21:8) But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

(Revelation 20:15) "If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

(1 Corinthians 6:9)
Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no place in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who induldge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers-none of these will have a share in the Kindgod of God."

Side Note: Many of the worlds religions teach that the soul or spirit is important but the body is not and Chistianity has sometimes been influenced by these ideas. in truth, however Christianity takes very seriously the realm of the physical. We worship a God who created a physical world pronounced it good. He promises us a new earth, where real people will have transformed physical lives-not a pink cloud where disembodied souls listen to harp music. At the heart of Christianity is the story of God himself taking on flesh and blood and coming to live with us. offering both physical healing and spiritual restoration.

We humans, like Adam are a combination of dust and spirit. just as our spirits affect our bodies, so our physical bodies affect our spirits. We cannot commit sin with our bodies without damaging our souls because our bodies and souls are inseperably joined. In the new earth we will have resurrection bodies that are not corrupted by sin. Then we will enjoy the fullness of our salvation.

Nevertheless, if you have fallen into lust of the flesh and or premarital-sex , or any other sin, you can confess your sins. He is faithful to forgive us if we confess our sins to him. (1 John 1:9)

This is why I had to leave my Girlfriend. We weren't doing the right things in God's sight. Let me explain...

Some time ago, I wasn't living the right way. I was doing things the way I wanted to do. I didn't listen to God. Then I repented , and came back to God, but There was something I was holding onto, that was hindering my walk with Jesus, and that was my girlfriend. He told me to leave her too, but I decided to keep her. I rebelled against God's instruction. Then one morning....God literally yelled at me.

It started with a dream of me listening to my messages on my answering machine. I was listening to the messages. The first message and it sounded like a wise man talking. He was saying "I stronly sugg.........." I skipped the message, I didn't understand what he was saying. The Second message was the same man, but a little more upset......but I still didn't understand what he was saying so i decided to skip it as well, So I listened to the Third Message, and it was the same man..he said "I stronly suggest you not to continue seeing Mary. He made sure i heard her name. Everything else he said in a calm voice, but God yelled her name, so that there was no confusion. You might say it was a dream, but how come I was continuing to hear God after I woke up, still I heard the echo of her name ringing in my ears, and God's presence all over me. I was in total fear, all I was saying was "Yes Lord, Yes Lord" over and over. The truth is God was actually tring to get me leave her for quite some time. God was trying to tell me to leave her alone, but I didn't listen. That's what the answering machine represented, God. And me not listening to the first two messages, that represented the times that God was trying to tell me to leave her awhile ago. So,after that morning that God talked to me, of course I listened to God, and i told her about it. Of course she was very upset, but that didn't matter, because God's ways are above our ways, so I trusted the Lord that he know's what's best for me. We have been together for 3 1/2 years, but It was easy to leave her because I Feared the Lord God over my girlfriend. I was more scared of what God could do to me than what Mary could do. God told me to leave her, because she was causing me to drift away from God to a point where I didn't care about serving God anymore..........

The thing is that my ex-girlfriend is now seeking God, and going to church every Sunday and Friday with her Sister, and she loves it. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. She studies her bible every day. She's close with God. She's not bitter about the situation anymore, cause she understands why it had to be done, and she has grown to fear the Lord herself. She still loves me , and I still love her, but we now have our priorities straight. God First...God may bring us back together if He wills.



Remember,

"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his very own soul?"

You don't have to wait until you get to Heaven to enjoy Peace.

The Word of God says you can have peace of mind here in this life.
(Philippians 4:7) And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
